Booked as anywhere will do to get us close to the airport for an early flight the next day and was pleasantly suprised by the friendly staff, comfortable rooms and probably our best night sleep of our trip through Germany and Austria in much plusher hotels.

Food at the hotel was good and reasonably priced with decent portions. The bathroom being on full view to the room was a bit of a shock to us Brits but it can be covered with a curtain.

The extremely friendly and helpful staff made us all feel right at home and the food was delicious. This is a perfect hotel to visit to Munich or any other location in Bavaria from, and much cheaper and more spacious than hotels in the city.

We didn't make prior reservations, though we were given a table for 12 quickly and had a great choice from the special Christmas menu.

They serve German style food, which I wouldn't only go back, but had the pleasure to eat there again 8 days later which was again a great pleasure.

I would recommend this restaurant and hotel to everybody. We enjoyed each of the 4 meals in the evening and all the breakfasts each morning during our 5 night stay.
